Baqué Molinié
Baqué Molinié was born out of an encounter, with the artistic aim of developing innovative textile research and inventing multiple ways of doing things, according to the seasons, events and collaborations. Laetitia Baqué and Victor Molinié, both graduates of the École Supérieure d’Arts Appliqué Duperré, decided to join forces in 2011. Driven by curiosity and the desire to combine their skills, they have travelled to embroidery workshops in France and India as textile designers.
These experiences, rich in creative and technical discoveries, have enabled them to orchestrate a number of projects and
establish their partnership with leading luxury brands – Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Schiaparelli, Fendi…
Trained in two schools: arts and crafts and design, Laetitia and Victor draw their creative energy from their differences. They promote a shared vision of design and craftsmanship, in which form and material echo each other. They perfect their embroidery techniques and assert their allegiance to the decorative arts by producing works of craftsmanship that they are happy to combine with the specificity of a place, a client or a project.
Their collaboration with the Pinton workshops summons up the poetic unconsciousness of the craftsman’s hand and the techniques of prodigious design.
