ARCHIK is a hybrid concept of real estate agency, architecture firm and furniture publisher that has won over a clientele of aesthetes and high-end buyers in Paris, Marseille and Toulouse.
ARCHIK’s latest renovation project, just outside Paris, is a turn-of-the-century house in a bucolic setting, where ARCHIK and architect Baptiste Legué (ABL) joined forces to carry out a renovation project that paid careful attention to history and materials.
The aim was to give this doll’s house a more contemporary function, while retaining its original charm. The interior layout was completely rethought and the volumes enlarged. A brick-clad extension opening onto the exterior through a large skylight brings modernity and light to the house, while light, velvety colors set the tone for the interior, which features custom okoume joinery, natural & pink travertine, light blond parquet flooring and loop pile carpeting.
