For this new collaboration with PINTON, Mathilde Grouvel of Agence MAG Designs, chose two rugs from the Haute-Couture collection by the Felletinoise house. One for the lounge and the other for the small living room of this Parisian duplex on rue Réaumur, for which she was responsible for the interior design. In perfect harmony with the owner’s tastes, the architect chose a large pearl-grey carpet for the vast living room on the 6th floor of the building, opposite the Réaumur clock.
The silky, cloud-like surface of this carpet catches the light and seems to respond to the majesty of the sky and the roofs of Paris, which can be seen through the large French windows. On the 7th floor, in the small living room, the duck-blue carpet with tone-on-tone bubble-shaped inserts echoes the mirror and heater motifs installed in this room. Vertical to the skylight, it adds to the comfort of this more intimate space and lends it much of its softness.
