Qubo Gas

Qubo Gas is an artist collective founded in 2000 by Jef Ablézot, Morgan Dimnet and Laura Henno, who left in 2010 while still occasionally taking part in some projects. The work of the collective revolves around the combination of several techniques from drawing to painting, to digital art. They draw together, move from pencil to marker, from mouse to quill, to glue and scissors! They express themselves on a variety of media such as paper or walls, as well as digital animations, performances, installations…

Their world is vibrant, reflecting their curiosity and their executions which do not consider any medium above another.
For PINTON and under the art direction of Yves Sabourin, the collective from Lille imagined a square wool rug displaying their favourite plant-inspired patterns, as well as their signature contrasting colours ranging from deep black to bright yellow, through different shades of blue.
